Tasche Dash - Day 23 - Late again... *fail*

Sorry - this was my bad... put it out fifteen hours ago then got caught up in some RL...

Marti's now live!

I *promise* I'll blog on time tomorrow...

Until then,

Another job to add to the pile...

Another release for you to have a look at - this is Arianrhod - a set of tight scalp hugging braids with an open ponytail...

In other news, it does seem that the images in the blog are indeed shot... I'll fix as soon as I can face it...

Until next time,

Slight technical hitch...

I've been performing a little background tidying and switching to a new primary Email address. I've changed a few blog associations as a result and it appears that images are not behaving the way they ought to be.

If this persists I'll re-upload those going back a year or so in due course - prior to that I'm afraid might prove difficult as well as time consuming.

I'm hoping that things settle down, but I guess we'll have to see.

In the meatime, here's a pic of something new I've been working on since Hair Fair - basically I got bored and thought I'd prototype some glasses...

More news in the not too distant future, I'm sure...

Until next time,

Lax or sorely lacking...?

OK - I suck and have left this WAY too long. Yes I have been working, and updates have been coming, but I've not blogged them because I either simply couldn't log into Blogger or I was otherwise predisposed.

Anyway, I'm posting now as there's a new one out today - Celene

This one features a mix of sculpted and flexi braids for what I believe is the first time. If it sells I'll look at developing more along these lines - so do come by and give it a try. It's on the practically-ubiquitous Turtle base again... but recent releases haven't been.

So these half dozen are on the new Skunk hairbase - allowing for some fun with straight cornrows - we've got Freija, a Jordan replacement and featuring a long loose drop and a bandana (colour-change, of course), Stampede - a mohawk with braids up the sides, Briannon - a Paige replacement with a little flick, Devon - a set of cornrows with tails (to replace Deshaun), Anansi, a set of rows without the tails (as a Sol replacement) and Mackenzie - like Shelly but braided instead of just tied.

And if that wasn't enough, finally there's Karina - initially built for the Little Big Shop event, that's now for sale in the main store and is a loose floaty ponytail.

...and by popular demand, a prim version of the turtle hairbase for those who want to use the tatt layer for something else:

OK... so that's you guys up to speed on the last seven weeks of releases. I *promise* it won't be so long next time, because if it is, I'll be announcing my Hair Fair releases on the last day of the show... don't want that now, do we...?

Anyway,

Until next time,

It's funny how things come together...

...and often not in ways you expect.

I started work on a new braided style for guys, slightly longer than Kaiba, that drops in front of one eye and is flicked over the other. I planned to call it Kazuo.

But, unwritten SL rule #304a kicked in. This is not a guy's style, now it's all pieced together and all is said and done it's defintely unisex.

Oh dear...

One other thing as well, I better come up with a slightly less manly name for it too... :S

This puts me in a rather unfortunate position, insofar that I've got quite some way with Paige, and a photo is likely to be up soon, once it's tinted. It is defintely a girly one (and targetted at a good friend of mine, if she only knew it)

I've promised two freebies to the update group in the new year, and they were supposed to be Paige and Kazuo... but neither are sufficiently manly enough to make it entirely fair; which means I now need to think of something else. I was planning a couple of proper, accessoried dreaded styles in the next few weeks based on the work that went into Ahab (sans hat, this time) so I might bring one or two of these forward and create something, that while long is more masculine.

Who knows... could even put it to the public vote... We'll see how it goes.

Until next time,

OK, it's official...

I suck royally... How could I avoid saying...

1) Tomcat now live - 60L a set... and +copy + mod -trans..

2) Slight matter of a massive sale instore right now, running until the 4th of July... Selected colors in all hair and beard styles reduced to just 20L... some even less...

3) The shop has been live for a year now... wow... how did that happen?

4) Dizzy, the soulpatch is just waiting on my getting a male model up and running for the vendor photos. The rest is actually DONE... and it's going to be a Linden.

5) First stages of a new style I'll be lauching at Hair Fair 2008 in August... tentatively named Jordan, but we'll see what I call it. Shot of the prototype...

Until next time,

Hiccups...

I admit... I have a lot on my mind... and as you know by now, I build when distracted, as anything requiring some degree of methodical work goes awry... The latest style is no exception.

I launched one I've not even mentioned before - Anna - earlier this afternoon... only to realise a few moments later that the script controlling the colorchange was wrong. Still Anna will be out later today or early tomorrow once I've reloaded the vendor.

Needed some cute pigtails rather than just the silly ones. Quite proud of these... particularly as they're relatively low prim (55) and tookme 90 minutes to build from scratch.

Until next time,

Kalli
